Among his nonfiction books are the best-selling Psychologistics and the Christopher award-winner, Encyclopedia of Magic and Magicians.
Mr. Waters has also appeared in several New York stage productions ranging from Shakespeare to experimental drama, and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. His long-standing involvement with mentalism has encompassed varied performance venues spanning the Arctic Circle to Tokyo.
He worked for a time for Nelson Enterprises, the well-known mentalists’ supply service, and is the author of many respected articles and monographs on mindreading and kindred topics. He resided in Hollywood, California until his death in 1998.
